Front-Lit vs Halo-Lit Channel Letters

Two ways to light a 3D letter, and how to choose the right one for your building.

Both styles are built in our factory from the same core parts. The difference is where the light comes out.

Front-lit letters

Light shines through a translucent acrylic face. The letter itself glows, giving maximum brightness and colour, which is ideal for shopfronts and roadside visibility.

Halo-lit letters

The face is solid metal and LEDs point backwards onto the wall. You get a soft glow around each letter: a premium look for lobbies, boutiques and offices.

Which should you choose?

If you need to be seen from the road, choose front-lit. If the sign is viewed up close or you want an upscale feel, choose halo-lit. Dual-lit letters combine both.
