How Channel Letters Are Manufactured

From a vector file to a lit letter on your façade: the steps inside our factory.

Channel letters look simple from the street, but each one goes through cutting, forming, welding, wiring and testing before it leaves our factory.

1. Artwork and shop drawings

We start with your logo as a vector file. Our designers set letter heights, return depths and fixing points, then produce shop drawings for approval.

2. Cutting faces and backs

CNC routers and lasers cut the backs and faces from aluminium, steel or acrylic, so every letter matches the drawing exactly.

3. Forming and welding returns

The sides, or returns, are bent to follow each curve and welded or bonded to the back. Joints are ground and finished so they disappear under paint.

4. LEDs and wiring

LED modules are fixed inside and wired to a driver. Each letter is switched on and checked for even light, with no hotspots or dark corners.

5. Finishing, testing and packing

Faces are fitted, colours are checked against your brand, and the full set is tested together before it is packed for delivery or export.
